Lori Halloran’s unbeaten Giants travel to their first away game of the season this Sunday to Leigh Leopards’ Leigh Miners RL Academy (3pm)

The Giants coming off that incredible 74-0 win over the Robins with Ana Da Silva grabbing an idyllic birthday hat-trick. Jess Harrap, Ellie Oldroyd and Amelia Brown all scored braces.

Opposition Guide

Leigh narrowly missed out on Women's Super League promotion last year, falling short in the play-offs 14-8 to Barrow.

This year they will compete in the revamped Women's Northern Championship as well as the Challenge Cup.

Kieron Purtill's Leopards have gone 2 wins from 2 so far in the Championship, though took a 52-4 defeat to Leeds Rhinos in Cup Group 4 last week. Toryn Blackwood the only point scorer for Leigh on the day.

The game will be held at Leigh Miners Rangers RL Academy, Sutton Park, Manchester Road, Leigh, WN7 2LZ. Kick-off has been amended with a scheduled 3pm start.

For entry, Adults are £5, Concessions (17-12) are £3 with Under 12s going free. Cash and card payments will be accepted.
